Recount about what I did on the weekend

On The Weekend

On a cold freezing morning my Uncle had came up from Auckland and came to watch my brother do
Triathlon. We got to waipapa where my brother was doing triathlon. There were different coloured
caps my brother got gaven the yellow one. there were Blue, Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple and White.
So he was 3rd to do the triathlon. Once the blue and Orange caps went it was my brothers turn.
They went over to the bridge where they start swimming.
Once they got over the bridge they started and after awhile they hopped out and ran across the bridge.

The time when I saw him he was running and there he goes. He was running so fast around the other

kids. And I said ‘’GO BROOKLYN’’ loud as. Then he got on his bike and went back over the bridge and
came back and then he had to go back to take his bike back. Then run up to the hill and run back and
the last corner he was so tired so red and sweaty. He got to the corner and started to run faster then got
to the finishing line and My uncle tipped water all over his head and it was cold. But he said it was so
nice. They put a medal on him and he went off and took a photo. He cooled down and we had a feed of
buns with coleslaw and chicken. He was so hungry. Then we went home he had a shower and went
straight onto the bed and had a nap he was so tired.
