This is my speech about why people should go to school

1.Who thinks that everyone should go to school?

Well I think everyone should go to school because you can learn about heaps of things such as: Maths, Reading, Writing and even how to tell time.

But you won’t learn any of those things if you don't go to school.

Going to school is lots of fun, because you can meet heaps of people and you can make friends. You can play sports go on class trips and you can even catch the bus to school.

2.Well you're wondering why some people don't go to school it could be because there is no food in their cupboard or their parents are too tired they can't get up and drop them of or because they got no vehicle or they're sick and they don’t want to share their sickness. But did you know there’s 57 million kids around the world that don’t go to school that's because schools aren’t available to them due to wars, distance and religion.

Secondly my favourite subject in school is mathematics because you can do times tables and you can learn division, subtraction and addition and also you can learn different strategies. There's even place value so there's so much to learn with maths. But even if you can't do it you can still try, don't give up because did you know if you don't try then you will get nowhere.

Thirdly Imagine having no schools anywhere there will be no one who will know how to do maths and how to tell the time and do reading and writing.

That won’t be fun at all there won’t be any parks to play on. You won't be able to sing songs because you have not been teached it.
